iomega ZIP 100 SCSI Drive Internal Operation

I took some time to disassemble a iomega ZIP 100 SCSI drive and cartridge to show it "doing its thing" - when idling, it seems to scrub the head across the disk to keep wear even and keep the disk clean. Neat! Video is embedded at http://goughlui.com/?p=2614 with pictures to be live over the next few days.
