[ALS R151 981/982 at EW4 Tanah Merah Platform F to Platforms D/E] Date filmed: 19 September 2026 Time of recording: between 1909hrs to 1913hrs Towards: (3) Changi Airport Train Model: Alstom Movia R151 Train Run: 103 Depot of Origin: East Coast Integrated Depot Final Destination Depot: East Coast Integrated Depot Carriage filmed at: - AM/PM/Full Day: PM Peak Service (Late Night Service) This video features an Alstom Movia R151, trainset 981/982, which is just freshly deployed from East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) to serve the Changi Airport Branch Line (CAL) for the PM Rush Hours, and is seen at EW4 Tanah Merah Platform F before crossing over to Platforms D/E, bound for CG2 Changi Airport. Ever since the opening of ECID on 9th December 2025 which overtook train operations from the now-decommissioned Changi Depot, this is how trains that are being deployed onto CAL are carried out such as TRN 103 which dispatches at around 1913hrs. As you can see, the train will normally arrive at Platform F as a "Do Not Board" train, before heading over a bit past Tanah Merah before utilizing the crossover back to Platforms D/E to start Revenue Service. As you can see, you can hear both "Do Not Board" announcements for Platforms F and Platforms D/E. This will be the arrangement until the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) is being merged with the current CAL in the future.
