Cheddar Cave Exploration

After a 7 km hike around the stunning Cheddar Gorge Trail, we headed into Cheddar village to explore Gough’s Cave and Cox’s Cave. We learned about the history of Cheddar cheese and how it was traditionally matured inside the caves, taking advantage of their naturally cool and humid conditions. A lovely end to our day exploring Cheddar Gorge with the family!
