Of Blood and Clay: Character Creation — How It Plays

Welcome to the first How It Plays video. In this series, I’m taking focused looks at different parts of solo RPGs and showing how they actually work at the table rather than just summarizing the rules. For this first episode, I’m creating a character for Of Blood and Clay from Blackoath Entertainment and talking through the choices, rolls, and rules as they come up. This one runs a little longer than I originally planned because I also wanted to set the stage for the series, but the goal going forward is simple: useful, bite-sized looks at how solo games actually play. Future videos will look at things like exploration, combat, lore and setting, gear and loot, and expansions and what they add.
