Surface Tension: Mercury in a Capillary Tube (Jurin's Law)

A mathematical description of surface tension within a capillary tube. This video examines a fluid whose contact angle is greater than 90 degrees (e.g. mercury + glass/air). By course of the analysis, the fluid statics principle Jurin's Law is derived.
