October 9. A day at Gachang Quarry, on the edge of Daegu, South Korea. Where stone was once cut away, water has settled into a lake, and only the rusted conveyors and the sheared cliff remember what happened here. We set one table in the middle of it, and the music ran from the sun straight overhead until it slipped behind the rock.
