14 | OUR FIRST SCOTLAND ROAD TRIP! 🚐 Free Wild Camping, Aviemore, Stirling & The Kelpies

Our van life adventure continues as we head further into Scotland! 🚐🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Week 2 of full-time van life takes us on a proper Scottish road trip, with some absolutely incredible places to stay and explore. We start this week with what has to be one of our favourite park ups so far... a free overnight stop with 360-degree views all around us. Waking up in a place like this and knowing that this is now our life is pretty special! From there, we head to Aviemore, where we spend a couple of nights at Dalraddy Holiday Park and explore the area. We even spotted Annalise and Jordan from @Steps2adventure driving past in their van and managed to give them a wave, although unfortunately we didn't manage to capture that moment on camera! Then it's onwards through Scotland as we continue getting used to our new life on the road. We head to the Linn of Dee, where we find another beautiful place to spend the night for just £12 and take an amazing walk alongside the river. And, in another first for van life, Emma manages to get her very first dip! 🥶😂 Next up is Perth, before we make our way to Stirling. We explore the historic Old Town, visit the Church of the Holy Rude, wander through the cemetery and take in the incredible views from above. And just when we thought the views couldn't get any better, we get treated to an amazing rainbow over Stirling with the William Wallace Monument in the distance. 🌈 Our final stop takes us to Falkirk, where we spend the night at The Helix and get to experience one of Scotland's most recognisable landmarks, The Kelpies. And seeing them during the day is one thing... but seeing these enormous sculptures lit up after dark is something else entirely! ✨ So that's another week of full-time motorhome life, more Scottish adventures, more beautiful places, another few nights of figuring out how to live in our new home on wheels... and plenty of Hugo, of course! 🐾 We're still very much learning as we go, but we're absolutely loving this new chapter. 🚐 OUR FULL-TIME VAN LIFE JOURNEY If you're new here, we're Emma and Marc, travelling around the UK in our motorhome with our cheeky dog Hugo.
