Living In Yerevan | VLOG | Afternoon Walk In Victory Park Yerevan, Armenia

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the channel Living in Yerevan. My name is Anthony Pizzoferrato and I am an American photographer who has been living on and off in Armenia for around 4 years now. Armenia has become a big part of my heart and I would like to share it with you! The good the bad, the beautiful and not so beautiful. Vlog 2 | Today I will be taking you through Victory Park, one of my favorite locations in Yerevan. The park was launched during the late 1930s as the "Arabkir city park", a district in northern of Yerevan. After the Great Patriotic War also known as World War II, the park was renamed "Victory Park", to commemorate the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany at the Eastern Front. I will show you the famous Mother Armenia monument designed by architect Ara Harutyunyan and contructed by Rafayel Israyelyan, military vehicles, monuments, as well as a Soviet era amusement park with a modern touch.
