The unforgettable and incomparable Caltrain Nathan P2 horn. Unique to the West Coast!!

In all my nearly 70 years of railfanning, I’ve never heard a horn quite like the Caltrain P2’s. We don’t have anything close to these on the East Coast and since I’ve been home I’ve been hearing them in my sleep. They are extraordinary and will leave a lasting impression on my liver, errrr I mean heart. If it’s any consolation, I have to live with two chime horns on the LIRR MU’s and Septa SV4’s. I will say this though. The P2’s sound better than the EMU’s Caltrain is getting. Hey, people are always criticizing me about my love for K5LLA Horns.and Septa’s Silverliner 5’s. Nothing personal ever.
