Tekashi criticized 21 Savage’s latest album, calling it lackluster, while praising Gunna for breaking records and thriving independently despite industry challenges. Highlighting the tension, Tekashi played a jail phone call between 21 Savage and Young Thug, in which the two seemingly discuss undermining Gunna’s career and taking a larger cut of his success. Tekashi suggested that this move stemmed from jealousy and the struggle to stay relevant, pointing out how Gunna is outperforming them despite legal controversies and background noise. Vlad also weighed in, agreeing that maintaining longevity in rap is tough and that moral lines in the industry may be shifting. The explosive exchange underscores ongoing rivalries in the rap world as Gunna continues to ascend.
