The band sing in a made up language comprised of a fusion of English and Icelandic. I think that they do this so that you concentrate more on the sound of the songs than on the lyrics. Also you tend to hear your own words in the lyrics based on your state of mind. The person that posted the original translation must have been feeling pretty low when they wrote what they wrote! To me it sounds as though he's singing 'You shine on us, you shine on all of us' so this song makes me think of the sun.
