Early in his career, Hamasyan won prestigious competitions such as the Montreux Jazz Festival Piano Competition and the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition. Today, he is regarded as one of the most influential pianists of his generation. With projects such as Mockroot, The Call Within, and The Bird of a Thousand Voices, Hamasyan has developed an unmistakable sound that combines spiritual depth, rhythmic intensity, and cinematic power. Renowned artists including Herbie Hancock, Brad Mehldau, and Chick Corea have repeatedly expressed their admiration for his music. Hamasyan is currently presenting his new project, Manifeste, released in 2026 on Naïve Records. The album brings together Armenian folk traditions, choral music, progressive rock, electronic production, and modern jazz, creating a monumental sonic landscape that ranks among the most ambitious works of his career to date. Performing with his quintet, Hamasyan delivers an extraordinary musical intensity that transcends traditional genre boundaries. 0:00 Manifeste 10:07 One Body, One Blood Tigran Hamasyan - piano / keyboards Yessaï Karapetian - keyboards Marc Karapetian - bass Arman Mnatsakanyan - drums Audio recording - Alex Hoetzinger Videoproduction and audiomix - Alex Hoetzinger Recorded live at Zig Zag Jazz Festival in Berlin/Gasometer on 26.07.2026 #TigranHamasyan #Manifeste #JazzPiano #ArmenianJazz #LiveJazz #JazzFusion #ModernJazz #ZigZagJazzFestival #BerlinJazz #JazzFestival2026 #OneBodyOneBlood #ProgressiveJazz #JazzConcert #VictorsPlaces #YessaïKarapetian #MarcKarapetian #ArmanMnatsakanyan
