I know that I said I had a lot of good things and milestones planned for this year. But today I'm bringing something extra special to the table: a sequel to one of the hardest and most chaotic maps in duke's modding community history. In fact this one is so brutal that the author was convinced that it couldn't be beaten without cheating. Naturally I accepted that challenge! Just like the first nightmare this was made by The Commander back in 2014, and is the first two levels of the second episode stitched together. But what sets the second apart from the original is that the enemy count has been doubled, with far less space to fight them all in. What truly makes this a brutal experience is that there isn't a near-unlimited amount of explosives to deal with them. What you see in the beginning is all you get, so you really have to get maximum value out of every pipebomb and rocket. So is this worth playing through? Honestly, yeah. It's no exaggeration that every new room brings forth a new challenge. In the beginning you're pushing self-destruct buttons on tanks while blowing up everything else, the next you're relying heavily on battlelords killing their own teammates, using elevators and doors to your advantage, then the last room you gotta use the slimers to eat all the scorpions so you don't run out of ammo. And of course there's plenty of backtracking to get more ammo and drink water to regain your health, while smashing the quick save button. I'd say this is the slaughter map to end all slaughter maps...well, until duke's nightmare 3 comes out anyway. Would you like to play this mod for yourself? You can download it here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile... Other Total Conversions, Mods, And Episodes I played through:    • Duke Nukem (Fan-Made Total Conversions)   Maps I played through:    • Duke Nukem (Fan-Made Maps)   I used Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition and eduke32 to play this fan made game, and StreamlabsOBS to record it. I played on the "Come Get Some" difficulty.
