Tesla’s event shows a Roadster airborne. This footage-led explanation follows the demonstrated jump and Tesla’s cold-gas thruster mechanism, then separates it from fan-generated grip and the limits of the Rocket version. Event footage is not an independent vehicle test. Footage: Courtesy of Tesla, Inc. A new cut featuring more footage from Tesla’s official Roadster Event. Footage: Courtesy of Tesla, Inc. Why does Tesla’s Roadster try to grip the road harder and also leave it? Fans and ground seals reduce pressure beneath the car; cold-gas thrusters expel compressed gas to create thrust. Coni explains the two air jobs, then separates Performance, the limited Thrust upgrade and invite-only Rocket. Tesla’s under-one-second 0–60mph claim belongs to Thrust, not every Roadster; it is not independently repeatable customer performance established by this event. Rocket is one-seat, invite-only and explicitly not approved for public road use. The presenters describe the demonstration as autonomous for safety and Starman as a dummy. Crash protection, air endurance and refill time remain unresolved in the checked sources. Tesla’s Korean reservation page leaves final specifications, price and delivery timing open. Musk’s 2028 production target is a future plan; accepting a reservation is distinct from delivering the car. Official Tesla product imagery and our original diagrams illustrate the claims; they are not independent measurements. Tesla’s Korean product page says its advertising images are staged and do not represent actual vehicle function or performance, and regional legal requirements affect availability.
