Everyone talked about what was wrong with MindsEye… but after actually playing it, I started asking a different question: what if this game isn't as bad as people made it out to be? MindsEye is definitely not a perfect game, and I understand why it received criticism. But honestly, I really enjoyed playing it. There is something refreshing about an open-world game that doesn't throw hundreds of buttons, complicated systems, and endless things to click at you. The futuristic setting, the mystery surrounding the main character, and the idea of trying to escape while discovering what actually happened to you kept me interested. And that's why I think MindsEye is a game with far more potential than it gets credit for. The game does have some issues. The cinematic and story sequences can be quite long compared to other games, and some chases and gameplay sections also feel longer than necessary. But underneath all of that, I think there is a solid foundation that could be developed into something much bigger. Trying to Improve the Graphics — DLSS 5 & OptiScaler I also wanted to see how much I could improve the visuals. I tried getting DLSS 5 working on my RTX 4090 using different methods, including a Swapper setup and a DLSS 5 version from GitHub. Unfortunately, I kept running into frequent crashes, so I couldn't get it working reliably. Instead, I experimented with OptiScaler and different filters and tweaks, which gave me a visual style that I personally prefer. It adds a little more realism to the image and, in my opinion, makes the game look noticeably better. MindsEye already has a good visual foundation, and I believe there is a lot of room for the graphics and overall presentation to improve with further optimization and development. This is where I think the game becomes interesting. If the developers continue supporting and improving MindsEye, I can see the futuristic world being expanded into something much bigger. Co-op story missions, online missions, additional content, improved graphics, and more open-world activities could give the game a completely different future. Unfortunately, I also feel that MindsEye wasn't marketed as strongly as it could have been, which may have contributed to many people overlooking it. It may not be perfect, but I think there is something here worth building on. 👍 Like the video 💬 Share your thoughts in the comments 🔔 Subscribe for more gameplay and gaming content #MindsEye #MindsEyeGame #Gameplay #OpenWorld #Gaming #PCGaming #DLSS5 #OptiScaler #RTX4090 #RayTracing #StoryGameplay #UnderratedGames
