Had an issue with our 2014 KIA 3.3 Sorento randomly stalling out while driving. This could be a potentially dangerous situation if this were to occur at the wrong time. On one occasion, the car stalled in a middle lane of traffic at a busy intersection with no warning while in gear.
NOTE: The 3.3L GDI Engine is also found in the following make/models according to Wikipedia.
2011-2016 Hyundai Grandeur/Azeri
2012-2018 Hyundai Santa Fe
2013-2018 Hyundai Maxcruz
2011-2016 Kia Cadenza
2014-2018 Kia Carnival
2014-2020 Kia Sorento
After calling around, I found that most shops wanted between $280 - 300 to replace a $25 - 30 part.
In this video, I show you how quick and easy it is to replace the CPS on your vehicle and, in the process, save yourself a few bucks. I picked up my sensor at www.rockauto.com
I hope you find this video helpful. If so, please consider subscribing and giving the video a thumbs up 👍. That will help me out.
