How to route VCV Rack 2 into Logic Pro X for multi-channel recording

VCV Rack2 is a great virtual modular simulator based on Eurorack, which can be integrated with other software and hardware, but I had trouble getting it to work with Logic Pro X so I could record each track separately. After a lot of time on YouTube I managed to get it working using bits from various videos I found. It took me so long I thought I should create this video to help others with their workflow. I hate it when technical difficulties break up my creative flow.
