The Mantra, popularly known as Tvam Soma Pitrbhi: or Agnishvaatha Pitara : from Krishna Yajur Veda , is rendered in the Ghana Patha form in a melodious way by Sri K. Suresh, Sri Sivarama Ghanapatigal and Sri Venkatakrishna Ghanapatigal. O, droper (soaker) let we worship you with the sacrifice and offerings. Let us be Lords of Wealth. O forefathers, come here. with good leadership & guidance, please sit in your appropriate seats. Please eat the offerings (Haveegumshe), placed on the Dharba (Sacred Grass or Barshishi) and give us all wealth (Rayim) with many heroes (Sarva Veeram). O, forefathers, sit on the sacrificial grass (Barihishada :) come here to protect us. We have made these offerings, please accept them with pleasure. Come again with your most healing protection together with peace (Shantamena). Give us health (Yo :) wealth (Sham) and safety (Arapaa). About the Mantras: This Mantra is taken from Yajurveda: 2.6.12 These three mantras are also appearing in Rig Veda VIII.48.13; X.15.11; and X.15.4 respectively.
