Ruth Style 38 Fairground Organ (1905)

"Fantasy From Traviata" Arr. A. Ruth. Comp. Verdi. The organ was owned by Kurt Baum who also made the recordings. The organ is one of only two of this model made by the Ruth factory that exists, the other one was installed at the Wiener Prater and was later owned by Willi Bruch. I met Kurt Baum in the late 60s when looking at a small Hofbauer busker organ he was a mine of information but hard to understand, during previous ownerships the organ lost it's two winged angels which Kurt had two more carved to bring the Ruth back to original also 800 odd hours of restoration. Where the organ is now..i dont know!
