What is design of experiments (DoE)?

Design of Experiments (DoE) is a methodology that can be used for experimental planning. By exploiting powerful statistical tools, it is more efficient, more robust and allows for predictions. But statistics is quite difficult isn’t it? Not with DoE! You don’t need to be a mechanic to drive a car. Same with DoE. You just need to learn a certain set of rules and you are good to go.
