How I Grow My First Chayote Wita Garden ‪@yaswitanaka‬

It’s finally bearing fruit! I planted this chayote on May 8, 2026. The seedling was quite expensive—¥1,080. I honestly didn’t think it would produce anything; the flowers only started appearing in early September. In Japan, this marks the beginning of autumn, and since it gets dark early in the evening, the flowers likely developed into fruit quite quickly. By October, the evenings feel just like nighttime. There are plenty of blossoms, and little fruits are popping up here and there—it’s such a joy to see! I’ll be harvesting them soon.
