I painted this view while on a beautiful trail with a stunning view -- but, I was working with bright sun glaring on my canvas, and ended up with a poor range of values and off colors. In this video I share not only our beautiful walk on a local Alaska trail, but also the painting process while I'm there --- and, why I was not happy with it! Follow along while I completely re-paint the scene in my studio the next morning while I share the tips that would have helped me to avoid the mistakes I made the first time. And, bonus, Tony shares his watercolor painting of the scene. He has been learning to paint watercolors, and this is one of his first few that he's done! Border collies Edna, Audrey and Henry add fun to every walk .... if you stay to the end you'll see that Audrey can also add some funny and frustrating moments to the vlogging game! And: Don't miss the BONUS surprise visit from a mysterious and mythical forest creature!
