A Fisherman’s Family in Monsoon Rain | Kerala Rustic Cooking ASMR | Ghibli Village Vlog

Kerala monsoon cooking ASMR in a Studio Ghibli-inspired 2D animated village. Rain on tiled roofs, a wood-fire clay stove and a fiery prawn curry. No talking, just cozy rainy-day sounds. 🌧️🌴 The rain drums on the tiled roof, the sea is misty, and a fisherman's family of four wakes up in a seaside village in Kerala. Ravi rows out at dawn and returns with fresh prawns. Kamala harvests tapioca (kappa) from the red-soil backyard and cooks a spicy prawn curry on a wood-fire clay stove. Unni and Maya eat with the family, then walk to school in clear raincoats. 🎧 BEST WITH HEADPHONES Rain on tiles • ocean waves • wooden oars • stone grinding • coconut oil sizzle • mustard seed crackle • tapioca mashing • prawn curry bubbling • crackling wood fire ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 Monsoon Dawn on the Kerala Coast 0:10 Fisherman Rows Into the Mist 0:20 Tapioca (Kappa) Harvest in Red Soil 0:40 Picking Fresh Green Chilies 0:50 Fisherman Returns Home with the Catch 1:00 Rainy Window & Morning Chores 1:20 Cleaning Fresh Prawns 1:30 Grinding Spices on Stone (Sil-Batta) 1:40 Coconut Oil Tadka & Prawn Curry 2:00 Firewood, Cow & Morning Work 2:20 Getting the Kids Ready for School 2:40 Boiling Kappa on the Wood Fire 3:00 Mashing Kappa 3:10 Monsoon Rain at the Window 3:20 Banana Leaves & Serving Rice 3:40 Packing School Lunch 3:50 Family Meal on Banana Leaf 4:00 Shoes On & School Goodbye 4:10 Clear Raincoats Through the Paddy Path 4:20 Bird's-Eye Zoom-Out 🍽️ WHAT'S COOKING Kappa (mashed tapioca) with Kerala-style prawn curry (kappa and meen/chemmeen curry).
