This piece, from the album "ShemHaShem", represents a significant departure from my usual writing style and comfort zone. It was born from a deep desire to embody the essence of "Shiviti Hashem L'negdi Tamid" ("I have set the Lord always before me"). I cannot say if this music is "beautiful" in the traditional sense, but it is undoubtedly true—composed via a spiritual algorithm based on the Tetragrammaton (Y-H-V-H). In the track "Beast and Man, Prophet and Saint," Gematria dictated the exact note count. In "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh," the physical shapes of the Hebrew letters on the guitar fretboard guided the melody itself. Joining me on this hypnotic, psychedelic musical journey—blending jazz, funk, and spiritual avant-garde—are my dear friends and incredible musicians: Matan Tiram: Bass, production, engineering, recording, mix, mastering, vocals.
