School-to-Work Transition Guide for Illinois

This webinar provides an overview of the School-to-Work Transition Guide. The guide was developed by representatives from the Illinois Center for Transition and Work, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Rehabilitation Services (IDHS/DRS), and numerous school districts in Illinois. Jim Mayer, a training specialist with the ICTW, describes the components of the guide and how it can be used to help students achieve goals related to employment, independent living, and postsecondary education.
