Welcome to Lahore Series – Part 2! 🇵🇰 In this vlog, we take you on a complete tour of the iconic Pakistan Army Museum, one of the most fascinating places to explore Pakistan’s military history. We started our journey by arriving at the museum in Lahore Cantt, where we first purchased our tickets. One of the most exciting things about this location is that it is very close to Allama Iqbal International Airport, so we were able to see airplanes taking off from a very close distance — an amazing view to witness! As we entered the museum, the first thing that caught our attention was a collection of historic tanks captured during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. Each tank had detailed information about its name, origin, and how it was captured, which made the experience even more engaging. Moving forward, we explored sections featuring old helicopters and various military equipment. These exhibits clearly show how warfare technology has evolved over time. We also saw ration supplies and equipment used by soldiers in different wars. Inside the museum, there is a very emotional and powerful wall displaying the names of martyrs from 1948 to 2025. It is a tribute to the brave soldiers of Pakistan who sacrificed their lives for the country. We then visited another section dedicated to the history of Pakistan’s Army Chiefs — from the formation of Pakistan to the present day, including the current Chief, Asim Munir. As we continued our tour, we explored displays of ancient warfare, including weapons like bows, arrows, and swords, as well as historical battle methods involving elephants. There were also sections highlighting Islamic military history, adding more depth to the museum experience. Outside the museum, we saw a wide range of tanks, artillery, and heavy weapons used in various conflicts, including high-altitude operations like Siachen.
