DON'T HIDE YOUR FACE

*DON’T HIDE YOUR FACE* is a deeply personal Biblical Gospel/Afro-Gospel worship song inspired by *Psalm 27:9* and **Psalm 51:11**. It is the cry of someone who has wandered from God’s presence but remembers the peace, joy, and closeness they once experienced with Him. Instead of hiding behind pride or excuses, the heart turns back and simply cries: *“Father, please come near.”* The song reminds us that money cannot heal the soul, people cannot cleanse the heart, and worldly success cannot replace the presence of God. What the heart truly needs is **God Himself**. **“Don't hide Your face from me Don't turn Your servant away Though I have failed You, Lord Please don't leave me alone.”** This is a prayer of repentance, surrender, and restoration—a longing to experience God's mercy again and return home to His presence. **Let me feel Your presence. Let me hear Your voice. Let me know Your mercy. One more time.** May this song become your prayer whenever you feel distant from God: *Father, please stay with me.* 📖 *Scriptures:* Psalm 27:9 • Psalm 51:11 🎵 *Song:* DON’T HIDE YOUR FACE 🙏 *Themes:* God's Presence • Repentance • Mercy • Restoration • Surrender • Prayer • Returning to God
