K&WVR Class 101 DMU Cab Ride - Oxenhope to Keighley (28/03/2018):

Our final day and a planned round trip on what I expected to be the four wheeled Railbus usually employed on the midweek timetable. I admit to being pleased that the Met Cammel 101 DMU was in action. I asked the driver Mick if he would allow me to sit my camera in the cab to record the journey from Oxenhope to Keighley. He very kindly suggested that I could also ride with him and it would have been extremely impolite of me to refuse ...... Wouldn't it? The downside however is that I had no means to screen the mic and of course we chatted throughout the journey and it would be inappropriate to share personal elements of our conversation. My alternative was to cut the audio and thus gain the opportunity to reduce the journey length by doubling the speed but I hope you still enjoy the ride.
