In this video, we review the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300d 4MATIC Coupe SUV. Earlier available in AMG guise only, the new facelifted GLC Coupe now comes in 300 and 300d avatars. Hani Musthafa gets behind the wheel of the diesel variant to see what it’s like. Mercedes-Benz GLC 300d 4MATIC Coupe is priced at Rs 63.70 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Mercedes-Benz GLC 300d 4MATIC Coupe is powered by a diesel engine which is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder unit that puts out 245hp and 500Nm of torque. It is BS6 compliant as the same unit as in the regular GLC. Mercedes-Benz GLC 300d 4MATIC Coupe accelerates from 0-100kmph in just 6.6 seconds. Design-wise, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300d 4MATIC Coupe is dimensionally very similar to the regular GLC SUV, only 73mm longer and 24 mm wider. Both SUVs look very similar when viewed from the front, the Coupe differentiating itself with richer all-LED lighting. The grille is split by a single chrome strip running through and comes with the diamond-studding we saw in the outgoing GLC 43 AMG as well. Mercedes-Benz GLC 300d 4MATIC Coupe does not represent neither as spacious nor as practical as the regular car, nor is it as sporty and fun as the AMG.
