P-51 Mustang RC Restoration | Full Inspection & Electronics Overhaul – Part 1

✈️ Welcome back to Pinal RC! We're starting a new three-part restoration series featuring another one of my RC P-51 Mustangs! After spending a long time without flying, this legendary WWII warbird needs a complete inspection and several upgrades before our upcoming RC flying event. In Part 1, we begin by removing the propeller and engine cowling to inspect the aircraft and check its overall condition. We're also removing the elevator and rudder servos to prepare for the installation of new ones in the next episode.
