As we journey through some of the most breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, we’re suddenly forced to stop due to a landslide blocking the road. But thanks to the quick and efficient action by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), the debris is cleared in no time and we're back on track! After a 9-hour adventure filled with high-altitude passes, dramatic views, and changing terrain, we finally reach the beautiful town of Sissu and check in to a cozy hotel for the night.
