CARRIE (2026) REVIEW — MIKE FLANAGAN PROVED ME WRONG

I went into Mike Flanagan's CARRIE expecting another unnecessary remake. Eight episodes later… I owe this man an apology. 😭 Prime Video's 2026 adaptation of Stephen King's legendary horror story takes a fresh look at Carrie White, the people around her, the cruelty she faces, and the events that push this tragedy toward disaster. In this Binge Verified review, we're talking Summer H. Howell's performance as Carrie, Samantha Sloyan as Margaret White, the modern cyberbullying angle, the supporting cast, the psychological horror, the eight-episode format, and whether this new adaptation actually deserves the hype. Did Mike Flanagan reinvent a classic, or did the series stretch the story too far? My verdict: 9/10. This review avoids major finale spoilers, so you can watch without having the ending ruined. 💬 Have you watched all eight episodes? Do you prefer this version or the original film?
