This Metroidvania Demo Just KEPT GOING... | Being and Becoming

I thought I was jumping into a quick Metroidvania demo... and then this thing just KEPT GOING. Being and Becoming is a new Metroidvania with one of the most unique art styles I've seen in a while. A lot of the world almost feels like you're exploring somewhere deep beneath the sea, while other areas completely change that atmosphere. It's strange, dark, beautiful, and definitely has its own identity. More importantly, though, the game actually feels really damn good to play. The combat was incredibly smooth, exploration felt great, and somehow this DEMO kept me playing for around an hour. We even fought TWO bosses before it was over. That's a hell of a lot more than I was expecting from a demo. I genuinely really enjoyed what I played here, and Being and Becoming is absolutely going on the list for a full playthrough. There's currently no release date, so I have no idea when we'll actually get our hands on the full game. But whenever it finally drops, I'm planning on playing it live on Twitch, so make sure you're following/subscribed over there if you don't want to miss the full playthrough when the time comes.
