Mario Kart 64: 1'40"57 (3lap) + Twitch highlights; DKJP TT bridge jump shortcut speedrun 1080p 60FPS

I'm playing DKJP Time Trials using shortcuts, but no out-of-bounds glitches. I took a break from this ridiculous challenge for a while to watch the World Cup, but have been streaming on Twitch the last few weeks   / mad_dog__mad_dog   Make sure that you put Dec 14th in your diaries! There will be a special event to celebrate the 30th anniversary 🎂 Some highlights: 18:15 - New PB 1'40"57: three relatively clean laps, but not using the higher-risk paths, so still a bit slow 0:01 - Some nice laps, in particular the 32"62 10:50 - A few where it could have been sub-1'40 if I didn't mess it up, e.g. the one where Toad is shouting all over the L.A. Confidential soundtrack 4:04 - Also, new tech for the jumping mod challenge: two jumps initially in a V-shape, then boost off the ramp, which is applied when you land and means you can save the mushroom for the cave I feel like I'm getting a bit more consistent now, but parts of it are just extreme QTE. I'm using save states for practising certain sections, which is why someone clips start mid-lap. I've had a few sub-1'40, starting from the end of Lap 1 (14:26, 15:46), with a best of 1'38"88, but obviously that doesn't count!
