The way this room works is pretty simple, you play the minigame so that you can regenerate power and use the door to stop animatronics from entering. This was a very interesting mode, originally I wasn't even sure if it's possible, but with every other room being most likely impossible, I decided to play this one. The original strategy was to just let Freddy reach the room and then close the door every few seconds, eventually I discovered that Freddy can be stalled at the door with the light, which only adds 1 usage instead of 5, it definitely helped but still wasn't enough. Finally I got the idea to stall Freddy on the camera, I thought about it before, but figured that Bonnie/Chica would make it pointless. However, by waiting for Freddy to laugh twice, he was able to stop them from reaching the door, making this strategy work perfectly. The only problem was that camera error would let Freddy move, meaning it would be back to the Old Strat, but as long as it didn't happen too early it still saved a lot of power :D Overall I would say this mode is very RNG, not only some errors can be extremely bad, but also the game can just keep doing them, making it basically impossible to do anything other than stall Freddy at the door. The game does however warn that it can very unbalanced, so the fact it's even possible is really cool I think!
