2 AM in India. What It's Like as an Indian Woman What is an Indian city like late at night? It’s been a while since I went out for a late-night walk or treated myself to some street food. So, on a Saturday night, I decided to step outside, walk around the city, enjoy some food, and take a little break from my usual routine. In this video, I'm taking you along for a late-night walk through an Indian metropolitan city, where the streets are still alive, food stalls are serving fresh food, people are enjoying the night, and many others are still working hard to make a living. Late-Night Street Food in India : I was craving Chinese food, but couldn't find what I wanted, so I ended up ordering a paneer cheese pizza and a glass of fresh sugarcane juice from a local street food stall. 💰 My food bill: Paneer cheese pizza and other food: Total order: approximately ₹400. In US dollars: approximately $4.18 & in euros: approximately €3.63. Street food is a big part of everyday life in India. From quick snacks to freshly prepared meals, local food stalls are places where people can grab a bite without spending too much. And sometimes, eating alone and enjoying a quiet moment is all you need. Life in an Indian City at Night : Behind the busy roads, bright lights, and late-night food stalls, there’s another side of city life. Every day, people come from small towns and villages to metropolitan cities in search of better opportunities. They work, pay rent, support their families, save money, and try to build a better future. Delivery partners and taxi drivers are among the people who keep a city moving long after many others have gone home. A delivery partner might earn around ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month (approximately 210–315 or €190–€280), while a taxi driver might earn around ₹20,000–₹40,000 per month (approximately 210–420 or €190–€375), sometimes more. Actual earnings vary depending on working hours, location, and expenses, and these figures may be before costs. With fuel, vehicle maintenance, rent, food, bills, and money to send home, earning a living in a big city isn't always easy. Everyone on these busy streets has their own responsibilities, financial struggles, and dreams for the future. A Quiet Moment by the Waterfront : I also spend some time near the coastal promenade, a popular place where people gather at night to sit by the water, talk, relax, or simply enjoy being outside. In a city where everyone seems to be rushing to work, chasing deadlines, earning money, and trying to keep up with life, I think we all need moments like these — time to slow down and just be ourselves. A Little About Me : Hi, I'm Surbhi, a software engineer from India, sharing my everyday life, personal experiences, city walks, food, and the realities of starting over. My videos are about ordinary life as it really is — no perfect lifestyle, no fancy plans, just real moments, personal thoughts, and the little things that make everyday life meaningful. If you're curious about daily life in India, Indian culture, street food, life in a metropolitan city, or what it's like to explore the city at night as an Indian woman, I hope you'll enjoy coming along with me. Recently, I’ve been watching creators like ting-daily life in china ‪‪@TingdailylifeinChina‬ & zaza in china ‪‪@zazainchina‬ . I really enjoy the way they show ordinary life cooking, going outside, quiet moments and honest thoughts without making everything feel perfect. That style inspired me to share my own version of everyday life but from India. This isn’t a comparison between India and China. It’s simply one person showing what an ordinary day can look like when life doesn’t go exactly as planned. Do you enjoy going on long walks at night, even when you don't have anywhere in particular to go? Or do you prefer staying home once the day is over? I'd love to hear about your experiences in the comments. consider subscribing    / @surbhilnindia   📍Daily life 🚶‍♀️ Late Night Walk 🌿 Slow & quiet vlog © All footage and content in this video are originally captured and created by Surbhi In India.
