Can two flocks of chickens learn to live together in one coop? Kris is about to find out at Foggy Ridge Farm! Until now, we've been keeping our two flocks in separate locations. The older chickens have been living in Cluckingham Palace, while the younger chickens and our three turkeys have been staying in the barn. Although the two groups are only about a month apart in age, keeping them separate has been taking up valuable barn space and making daily chicken care more work than necessary. It's time to bring everyone together and create ONE BIG FLOCK! But getting chickens to move into a new home isn't always as easy as opening the door and inviting them inside. Kris spends an entire week encouraging the younger flock to make Cluckingham Palace their new home. Food, patience, and a little persistence become the tools of the trade! On Day 1, only two of the younger chickens venture inside their new home. Will the rest of the flock follow? Watch the daily progression as Kris works to get everyone going into the coop on their own. By the end of the week, the chickens are finally heading into Cluckingham Palace without needing to be coaxed inside every time! Join us at Foggy Ridge Farm as we share the real-life ups and downs of raising chickens, caring for turkeys, managing a backyard flock, and learning as we go. If you're raising chickens, planning a backyard chicken coop, or wondering how to combine two flocks of chickens, we hope our experience gives you some ideas for your own farm or homestead. We don't have all the answers, but we're learning as we grow! Thanks for spending time with us at Foggy Ridge Farm, Where we learn as we grow. #ChickenKeeping #BackyardChickens #Homesteading #FoggyRidgeFarm #DevelopingAFarm Subscribe Here - https://www.youtube.com'FoggyRidgeFarm1?sub_confirmation=1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amazon Affiliates Link: Below are the links to the products we used.
