Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002). It turned the game from 2D to 3D, added a bunch of completely forgettable characters, and expanded greatly on the lore in the MK universe. Unfortunately, some of the things in the game were completely overlooked. Thus brings us to Raiden's Staff D4 (Named by me), which has such a TERRIBLE hitbox. You gotta be up in the character's personal space to hit this move, since the hitbox doesn't match the move's trail at ALL. And it's supposed to be a sweep since Mavado went into his swept animation after being hit. Not to mention how slow as molasses this move is. This has got to be the worst fighting game move ever as I highly doubt the hitbox is intentionally supposed to be this bad. It even has the same hitbox in Mortal Kombat: Deception! Only in Armageddon was the move fixed. It took two whole games for Midway to fix this, but hey, better late than never right? God, I'm glad Mortal Kombat went back to 2D.
