Everyone Is Getting Placed Except You | Software Engineering

Placement season has started. People around you are getting placed. Your classmates are announcing their offers. Someone you know just got a software engineering job. And meanwhile, you're still preparing, applying, learning, solving DSA problems, building projects — and wondering why nothing seems to be moving. That feeling can mess with you. You start comparing your progress with everyone else's. You start questioning whether you're actually good enough. And sometimes, the worst part is that you start losing the motivation to keep doing the work. But getting a job before you doesn't mean you're falling behind forever. Your timeline is different. If you're in your third or final year of college and preparing for software engineering placements, this is probably one of the hardest parts of the journey — seeing everyone else move forward while you feel stuck in the same place. And I think this is exactly when you have to keep showing up. Keep solving the problems. Keep building. Keep applying. Keep learning. Keep improving. Even when you don't have anything to show for it yet. Because sometimes the work you're doing today doesn't show up immediately. This is about software engineering placements, comparison, feeling stuck, and continuing to work when it feels like everyone else is moving ahead. If you're currently in that phase, this video is for you. #SoftwareEngineering #Placements #SoftwareEngineer #CollegePlacements #Coding #coding #productivity #programming
