The Making of a Timber Frame

This film follows the complete process of building a timber frame from start to finish, built from pine timber harvested from the woods surrounding the workshop. Using a combination of traditional woodworking techniques, hand tools and modern tools, the film follows the project from preparing the timbers to raising the finished frame. Nearly three hours of woodworking and traditional craftsmanship, documenting the entire build as it happened. No narration. No music. Just the sound of timber, tools and craftsmanship.
