The Ammonite, developed by Seafloor Geotech, is a versatile seabed Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) system designed for offshore wind geotechnical surveys. It operates in water depths up to 4000 meters and features interchangeable bases for different seabed conditions. Ammonite is capable of continuous CPT up to 50 meters, includes seismic testing capabilities, and offers both vibrocore and thin-walled sampling options. It can be deployed from vessels even in shallow or dry land areas, enhancing its operational flexibility.
