Iu Mien - Kouichoy and Chaylium's 50th Anniversary: A Trip to St Paul 08/24/2026 - 09/03/2026

Our First Amtrak Trip to St. Paul, Minnesota — Celebrating Kouichoy and Chaylium Saechao’s 50th Anniversary (1976–2026)! Our U.S. Iu Mien delegation of nine members was honored to attend the Hak Ban Kerd (HBK) Official Kickoff Party on August 29, 2026, in St. Paul, Minnesota. We were delighted to welcome the W.I.G Naga youth soccer team from Laos, who traveled to the United States to compete in the 2026 International Youth Soccer Championship. For me, Kouichoy Saechao, a special highlight was reconnecting with my dear friend from the late 1970s, Mr. Wiengchai Wilaikul, President of W.I.G Naga. Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to HBK President ChengSue Vang, Kickoff Event Chairman Mr. Saeng Doua Kue, and the HBK Board of Directors for hosting such a successful and memorable event. We truly appreciated your warm welcome and hospitality! Special thanks to my father, Foochiane Saechao, who wrote the traditional Iu Mien song featured in this video, and to Uncle E-Yoon Saelee for chanting it. Thank you for watching and sharing these special memories with us! Produced by: Kouichoy and Chaylium Saechao October 4, 2026 Oakland, California USA
