CATALYST (Tomb Raider inspired) - Dean Kopri

While we’re waiting for news about Legacy of Atlantis from this year’s Gamescom, here’s something new from me to help pass the time. 😄 Lara’s quote, "I’m just getting started!", was the catalyst that got this track going - a line that inspired me all on its own and felt like the perfect place to begin. Catalyst has been a long time coming, but its time has finally come. This time, I wanted to try something a little different - something more mysterious and mature, while still keeping that sense of adventure and those powerful moments that I feel suit the version of Lara in Catalyst. I looked for inspiration everywhere - from the game’s trailer to the various pieces of music available online and beyond. Along the way, I stumbled upon some beautiful pieces of music that really inspired me and influenced the direction of this track. I didn't set out to recreate them, but rather to take that inspiration and see where it could lead me musically. And just to clarify, no AI was used in the creation of this music. I’m still staying true to that recognizable Tomb Raider sound, combining a symphonic orchestra with synths, vocals, and other elements. I hope it makes you feel something while listening. :D The theme is also on its way to digital streaming services, so feel free to check it out there when it’s available! 🎧 You can also find my music here: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0jk2v...
