Kawasaki zx6r j1 stuttering problem diagnosis

My Kawasaki zx6r J1 started stuttering in 2nd and 3rd gear. I thought it was some dirty fuel clogged up the carbs. Turns out after messing around, it was the throttle position sensor.(TPS)
