Sesame Herding Sheep

Sesame comes out the gate hotter with the sheep, but she settles in nicely and usually has a more calm and consistent energy with the sheep. I am not using the "official" herding commands because I am trying to get the dog to consistently cluster the sheep and flank both sides before I individually label each direction of flanking with the proper commands ("away" and "come by"). But also, if you're not trialing for titles and the dogs won't be working on a farm consistently, it really doesn't matter. This work gives the dogs GREAT mental exercise. Commands I'm using in this video: Bring 'em — direct the sheep towards me Around — go to the outside of the sheep (flank them) Easy — let up on the sheep (put some distance so they don't panic) Look back — turn around and fetch the strays
