Castle On The Delaware / "The Old Armory"”!!!

The Castle on the Delaware is one of 27 properties in the state recommended for the lists by the New York State Board for Historic Preservation, The large red brick building — located at 139 Stockton Ave. in Walton — was built around 1895 and was used as an armory. It was home to the 33rd Separate Company of the 17th Battalion of Walton. The nearly 30,000-square-foot building was vacated in 1965 and converted to a department store, and later a restaurant and health club. ‘The Old Armory’ was purchased in 2006 by New York City transplant Mustafa Sav.
