(80s Hard Rock Ver.)

-------------------------------------------------- [English Description] We revive [Unrequited Love], the unreleased title track of the group 'S'—an ultra-rare, hidden masterpiece buried in the history of Korean rock—into an 80s hard rock version. Singer Jung Seung-hyun, remembered by many, debuted in September 1993 with his critically acclaimed first regular album [Still I... / Tower of Babel], receiving immense love. He left behind hits like 'Unforgettable Time' and 'Still I...', drawing attention as a next-generation vocalist. However, an unexpected and tragic car accident forced him into a long hiatus. Stepping over that pain, his comeback project was 'S', a team formed in collaboration with Tomi KiTa, a maestro of Korean rock and a multi-instrumentalist. In 1998, promotional CDs (titled 'S') were distributed ahead of the official release through Seoul Records, but due to unfortunate circumstances, the official release was completely canceled, and the album vanished from public memory. Every track boasts brilliant perfection, featuring a unique and organic structure where Jung Seung-hyun (handling Rock) and Tomi KiTa (handling Blues) took turns as lead and backing vocals depending on the genre. [Unrequited Love] was the original title track strongly pushed on that promotional album. While the original is a desperate and sorrowful authentic rock ballad, this cover takes a completely new approach to differentiate itself. By adding a fast-paced, racing tempo and heavy distortion riffs characteristic of 80s Hard Rock, we transformed the sadness into a refreshing sense of catharsis. Enjoy this rare, hidden gem reconstructed with a modern touch, and feel the passionate energy and nostalgia of authentic K-ROCK tonight.
