Basler ace 2 Camera Repair – Fixing a Broken Connector & Damaged PCB Traces

This Basler ace 2 industrial camera came in with a badly damaged connector and five damaged PCB traces. Replacing the entire camera would be expensive and could take a long time to source, so we attempted to repair the original board. In this video, I remove the broken connector using low-melt solder and hot air, repair the damaged and lifted PCB traces with thin wire and solder mask, install a new connector, clean the board, and put everything back together. Another piece of expensive equipment saved with microsoldering and board-level repair instead of replacement!
