Lyrical dance for black history (solo dancer) - February 11th, 2023 For Black History, this quote from Harriet Tubman was the inspiration: ” ‘Twant me, ’twas the Lord. I always told Him, “I trust you. I don’t know where to go or what to do, but I expect you to lead me,” and He always did.” Then to tie the songs, dance and inspiration all together biblically, we chose as our reference the following: 1 Corinthians 12:12–13 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
