The Sound of Trash, Pt. 17 Music/Lyrics: EW Cover Art: AW The Sound of Trash Series follows essentially the same concept as The Sound of Garbage Series: a compilation of previously released, raw one-take instrumental improvisations by one-man-band musician and improvisationalist Evan Walker, spanning recordings made from August 11, 2025 to the present The instrumental performances are entirely human-performed, with Evan playing the instruments himself—including guitar, bass, drums, and, at times, keys. No AI is used to generate the instrumental performances. The difference is that The Sound of Trash Series features AI-generated vocals layered over the original human-performed instrumental recordings. The one-take instrumental improvisation remains the foundation of each recording, while the AI vocals are simply an additional creative element. Like The Sound of Garbage Series, these recordings are raw, experimental, imperfect, and made without the expectation of perfection or recognition. As for the name The Sound of Trash—it's intentionally self-deprecating. If the music is going to be treated like something worthless, Evan figures he might as well give it the appropriate name, once again... Same concept. Human-performed instrumentals.
